الاحكام الموضوعية للجرائم العابرة للحدود عبر الوطنية

لا شك ان الجريمة العابرة للحدود عبر الوطنية تشكل خطراً متزايداً يمس المصالح العامة، على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي.واصبحت من الجرائم الحديثة التي افرزتها الحضارة المادية اذ تستمد ملامحها وأساليبها، وخصائصها المتطورة من مظاهر التقدم العلمي والطفرة التكنولوجية الحديثة وثورة المعلومات، إذ يمارس المجرم أنشطته الإجرامية بأساليب تقنية معقدة قد تتجاوز المألوف كدرجة يصعب في حالات كثيرة متابعتها وضبطها.ونجد أن زيادة الكثافة السكانية والهجرة غير المشروعة والتفكك الاجتماعي وتفشي الفساد ادى إلى انشاء المجال الخصب لنشوء لهذا النوع من الجرائم ما يصعب على أجهزة العدالة

Sixteen isolates of Lactobacillus spp. were obtained from different sources including dairy products, vinegar, pickles and two locally vaginal isolates by primary culturing on De Mannes Rogoza Sharp (MRS) agar before subjection to cultural, microscopic and biochemical tests. To examine their inhibitory activity against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), all isolates were cultured once on solid and other in liquid MRS media. Results revealed that high inhibitory effect was detected by the isolates that propagated in liquid medium than on the solid.

Isolation and Identification of Klebsiella Accompanying Accident Wounds and Treatment with Probiotics

 A total of (100) samples were collected from patients (referred to three hospitals in Baghdad) suffering of accident wounds included traumatic wounds, foot ulcer and burns. The samples were collected from both sexes during the period 10/12/2009 – 14/3/2010. A total of 22 isolates of Klebsiella were identified depending on cultural, microscopic and biochemical characterizations.

Extraction and Purification of Asparaginase enzyme from Pisum sativum plant and studying their cytotoxicity against L20B tumor cell line

 Plant samples of Pisum sativum were collected from crop fields in the Collage of Agriculture/ University of Baghdad and were classified as Pisum sativum subspp. Jof according to their morphological characteristics. Activity of asparaginase was detected in seeds, stems and leaves extracts. Results showed that maximum asparaginase activity was detected in seeds extracts which was 30.0 U/mg in comparison with 26.4 and 16.1 U/mg in extracts of leaves and stems respectively.

The Potential of Some Locally Grown Plants to Genetic Transformation with Cytochrome p450 and Their Use in Phytoremediation

To increase phytoremediation potential, Arabidopsis thaliana and Sesbania grandiflora were genetically engineered with the rabbit cytochrome P450 enzyme. The P450 2E1 enzyme controls the ratelimiting step in the metabolism of multiple environmental pollutants, including Trichloroethylene (TCE), Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT). The percentage of transformation increased at the less diluted cultures of Agrobacterium tumefaciens. Treatment of Salmonella typhimurium with Probiotics to Evaluate it Histopathological and Immunological Effects on Mice

This study was aimed to investigate the protective effect of some probiotic microorganisms in mice infected with Salmonella typhimurium. A total of (119) samples including food, stool, and vaginal swabs were collected from various regions of Baghdad city. Lactobacillus spp. and Saccharomyces spp. were isolated from the samples to be used as probiotics. Twenty isolates of Lactobacillus spp., 17 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and one isolate of Saccharomyces boulardii were obtained from the samples.
