Synthesis and characterization of mononuclear metal complexes with a ligand derived from 2,6-diformyl para cresol
A new Schiff base polydentate ligand (tetra Aza) has been prepared: 2,6-bis-(Azomethine ethyl Azomethine ortho phenol) 4-methyl phenol.Synthesis was carried out by two steps of condensation, first by the condensation of 2,6-diformyl-4-methyl phenol and ethylenediamine in the mole ratio (1:2) under nitrogen atmosphere.
Photocatalysis of Azo Compounds on Doped Titanium dioxide
The photodegradation and degradation of two azo group containing dyes namely; methyl orange (MO) as mono azo model and congo red (CR) as di azo model moieties, have been investigated, throughout this thesis, in aqueous medium. This thesis involves the investigation of the corrosion behaviour of pure aluminium as well as of two of aluminium – base alloys (5052Al and 2024Al)in sodium chloride solution over a temperature range (283 – 323 K) with and without ampicillin (AMP.), cephalexin (CEX.) and amoxicillin (AMOX.) as inhibitors. The results of electrochemical experimental study revealed that:
