An Investigation of Various Methods and Correlations of VLE of Hydrocarbon Mixtures (That Can Be Used As Substitute for Freon-12 in Refrigeration)
Various paths and models have been tested for more accurate VLE predictions for 36 binary systems with 376 data points and 14 ternary mixtures with 368 data points, especially for mixtures of industrial interest in refrigeration units.
IMPROVEMENT OF PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION OF FUEL OIL
Reduced crude is considered usually as the main source for heating oils. Therefore, it was chosen in addition to, a commercial fuel oil in the present investigation, to improve their ability for pipelining.
SIMULATION OF BATCH REACTIVE DISTILLATION FOR PRODUCING OF METHYL ACETATE
Batch distillation process is one of the major operations in the chemical, petroleum and pharmaceutical industries for the separation of liquid mixtures into their pure components The present work is concerned with constructing a simulation computer programs to analyze multi-components,multistage batch distillation without and with chemical reaction. The rigorous method was used to build the simulation computer programs for non ideal mixtures, by using MATLAB package to solve MESH and MESHR equations.
Synthesis and characterization of new gallic acid derivatives complimented with antibacterial activity
This work consists of synthesis of new oxazepine and diazepine compounds according to the Schemes shown below.
In order to obtain the target compounds, the following routes were adopted:-
Adsorption of Dyes from Aqueous Solution Using Sawdust Coated with Polymers
In this research the effectiveness of sawdust SD and Sawdust coated polyaniline SD/PANI composite, which is one of the environmentally friendly materials, cheap and available in very large quantities were testing to remove the bromothymol blue BTB and malachite green oxalate MGox dyes as chemical contaminants for industrial bio-waste water using Batch Adsorption technique.
Photocatalytic degradation of Orange G onto doped Au/TiO2 and Pt/TiO2 nano particles
In this work the synthesis of Au-doped and Pt-doped TiO2 nanoparticles employing sol-gel methodology. The doping procedures based on chemical reduction and UV photodeposition.
Synthesis and Characterization of Some Amino Acid Derivatives and Studying Its Antibacterial Activity
The present work includes the synthesis of different Schiff’s bases [3(A-C)] by the reaction of 2-Aminopyridine [2] with benzaldehyde and its derivatives [1(A-C)]. These Schiff’s bases react with benzoyl chloride [4] to yield benzamide derivatives [5(A-C)]. The synthesis of L-amino acid derivatives [6(A-C)–10(A-C)] has been performed by the reaction of benzamide derivatives [5(A-C)] with (Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Asparatic acid and L-Asparagine).
Synthesis of some N-pyridinium salt derivatives as corrosion inhibitors for mild steel in sulfuric acid
This study involves the preparations of some pyridine derivatives starting from Isonicotinic acid (1) following these steps :First : The Synthesis of Isonicotinoyl acid chloride (2) by The reaction of Isonicotinic acid (1) and thionylchloride .Second : The Synthesis of some amide and ester derivatives by reaction between Isonicotinoyl acid chloride (2) and substituent amine or phenol derivatives ( Semicarbazide, Thiosemicarbazide, Benzohydrazide, Aniline, 4-phenylazoaniline, 4-phenylazophenol, p-Aminophenol, p-Aminoacetophenone, m-Toluidine, 4-Bromoaniline )
Indium, Tin and Antimony electro deposition from ionic liquid on copper substrate
Room temperature ionic liquids gained massive growth in recent years for their distinguished characterization like non-volatile and designed media for variable chemical and industrial application. In addition, indium metal has applications in electronic and optoelectronic devices, tin and antimony metals have good corrosion resistance and optical properties respectively.
