Influence of Nanoparticles on Some Physiological and Therapeutic Characteristics of Phaseolus vulgaris L. on Induced Skin Injuries in Mice

Phaseolus vulgaris seeds were surface sterilized using ethanol 90%, soaked in sterile distilled water for 60min, then soaked in copper and silver nanoparticles at different concentrations (25, 50 or 100mg/l) for 15 and 30min. The effect of nanoparticles on the plant physiological characteristics in vivo was studied.

Antitumor and Antimicrobial Activity of Antibiotic produced by Streptomyces spp.

Actinomycetes produce a wide range of secondary metabolites and more than 70% of the naturally derived antibiotics that are currently in clinical use are derived from soil Actinomycetes and increasing of the pathogens resistant against antimicrobial agents becomes a health problems, so the current study was aimed to isolation of local Streptomyces spp. that is capable of producing secondary metabolite and investigate their biological antimicrobial and anticancer activities.
