MicroRNAs as Possible Biomarkers for Breast Cancer in Samples of Iraqi and British Women

This study aimed to determine the expression of microRNA molecules as early prognosis biomarkers for the detection of breast cancer. To achieve this project, a total of fifteen serum samples were collected from Iraqi women with breast cancer and from six serum samples were collected from healthy women volunteers as a control group.

Genetic study on virulence factors and cytotoxicity for Aeromonas hydrophila isolates

For the isolation of Aeromonas hydrophila, one hundred and twenty samples were collected from different locations in Baghdad governorate. These samples include 80 samples of fish gills and intestine,

Early Detection of Prolactin Elevation in Women Suffering from Infertility''

This study was constructed to discuss an issue regarding infertility cases that was attributed to hyperprolactinemia. About 150 blood samples were collected from women suffering hyperprolactinemia and 50 from normal subjects served as control for comparison. Test subjects were divided into three age groups: 20-30 years old, 31-40 years old and 41-50 years old. Tests of fertility hormones luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and prolactin were performed for all study groups.
