Morphology Study of Aluminium Deposition from Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTIL)

Aluminium metal processing is only feasible at high temperature like extraction by electrochemical process from its ores at high temperature.Such process are not feasible in aqueous liquids due to production of hydrogen (-0.8V) much prior to aluminium electroreduction (-1.65V).Other solvents such as organic and ionic liquids have their setbacks for many practical, economic and environmental reasons.

Synthesis, Characterization and Study the Liquid Crystalline Properties of New Discotic Compounds

This study deals with the synthesis and study characterization of two sets (3a-g) and (6a-g) as tri-substitution derived from 1,3,5-trihydroxybenzene (Phluroglucinol). The first series (3a-g), scheme 1 was synthesized from the reaction of 1,3,5trihydroxybenzene with p-alkoxybenzoyl chloride.

Synthesis and characterization of mononuclear metal complexes with a ligand derived from 2,6-diformyl para cresol

A new Schiff base polydentate ligand (tetra Aza) has been prepared: 2,6-bis-(Azomethine ethyl Azomethine ortho phenol) 4-methyl phenol.Synthesis was carried out by two steps of condensation, first by the condensation of 2,6-diformyl-4-methyl phenol and ethylenediamine in the mole ratio (1:2) under nitrogen atmosphere.
