Osteoblast formation from MesenchymalStem Cells Derived from mouse Bone Marrow in vitro

This study was designed to evaluate osteogenic potential of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) isolated from mouse bone marrow in vitro. MSCs were isolated by collecting the thigh bone of 50 male albino mice, both the femur and tibia were collected and cells were flushed from bones and MSCs isolated based on the ability of adherence to plastic surfaces. Reactivity MSCs to CD105 and CD34 were tested by immunocytochemistry.

Production, Characterization and Immobilization of Laccase Enzyme from Bacillus cereus Local Isolate

In this study, fifty five soil samples were collected from different locations in Baghdad city. Many Gram positive and negative bacterial isolates were obtained;of which 39 were identified as Bacillus spp. upon subjecting to morphological and microscopic tests. Laccase enzyme activity was determined by quantitative methods using a syringaldazine as substrate for growth of these isolates. Results indicated that 17 of these isolates were laccase producer with different specific activity ranged between 98-600U/mg  protein.

Study the Effect of Loranthus europaeus Extract on Wound Healing Process

Loranthus europaeus is an important medicinal plant, which contains a lot of bioactive compounds. The dried plant fruits were extracted in 80% methanol by maceration. Chemical detection of crud plant extracts was performed. The total flavonoids were isolated, subjected to thin layer chromatography (TLC) using different mobile systems. The purified material was augmented by using high performance liquid
