Remote control of robotic manipulator VIA the internet.

Abstract: The aim of this project is to control robot manipulator remotely via Internet. Two approaches had been used to achieve the goal. The First approach use client and server with TCP protocol, while the second approach uses web page to control the robot manipulator remotely. Also, MA2000 robot manipulator MATLAB simulation had been designed. Some of the Internet protocols and routing concepts are presented in this thesis. These concepts are related to controlling robot arm remotely via Internet.

Subscriber interface card for PCM multiplexer

Abstract : This thesis investigates implementation of the main function of the subscriber interface card for the European standard E1 multiplexer using standard and compressed voice techniques. This is achieved by the design and implementation of a microcontroller based system that has the ability to control and program the codec/filter function of the card using new codec/filter integrated circuit. It also provides the user with a mean to interact with the card.

Implementation of simplified named pipe technique using windows 2000

Abstract : Regardless of the purpose that any distributed application serves, there is one requirement it will almost definitely have: efficient data transfer. So there are many several techniques available for data transfer and required a full study to know its advantages and disadvantages depending on the features that effect the efficiency of transferring data between the processes that it locate in the same machine or in a remote machine.

Development of remote data management and control via internet

Abstract : Remote management involves establishing a connection to a server to manage it across the Internet. As a class, remote management tools should be robust, versatile, and secure. Whenever a server is functioning and available across the Internet, remote management tools are the tools of choice. The scope of remote services now on offer is breathtaking. From helpdesks and call centers, through management and monitoring of systems and networks, all the way up to remote storage and applications hosting.

Performance analysis and evaluation for wireless local area network WLAN

Abstract : Wireless Local Area Network abbreviated as (WLAN) is the new generation of Local Area Networks (LANs) that is to satisfy the mobility and flexibility needed by recent users (mostly laptop users). This thesis presents the theory of IEEE 802.11 standards of WLAN, and discusses various WLAN performance parameters and their configuration. Simulation projects for different WLAN topologies have been built using OPNET network simulator.

Softwarwe optimization of encryption algorithms for LANs

Abstract : Most encryption algorithms are designed without regard to their performance on top-of-the-line microprocessors. The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the software optimization techniques and how they should be applied in the design of encryption algorithms. General software optimization principles are presented that apply to almost all modern CPUs.

Simulation of Token Ring Lan using petrinet model

Abstract : Since the appearance of computers network until the use of the internet many types of LAN were applied according to the topology or to the way of exchanging the information (access method). To get the better and suitable ways, the need to study the performance of LAN was appeared in order to know the network performance through measuring the time of information receiving, to know which type is suitable for a specific job and place.

FPGA based elliptic curve cryptosystem

Abstract : Elliptic Curve Algorithms (ECA) has been developed to be a desirable algorithm to other public-key cryptosystems such as the Rivest-Shamir- Adleman algorithm (RSA) by offering the smallest key size and the highest strength per bit. It is based on the discrete logarithm in finite field and integer factorization problem. This thesis proposes the design and implementation of cryptosystem used for generation of session key based on elliptic curve. The underlying structures are the standard Galois Fields GF (2m) in standard base representation.
