Synthesis of New Heterocyclic Compounds derived from m-methyl benzoic acid and P-nitro benzoic acid and study of Biological activity for some of these compounds.
This work involves synthesis of different five and six member heterocyclic rings starting from acid hydrazides (m-methyl benzoyl hydrazide and p-nitro benzoyl hydrazide) which were synthesized from their carboxylic acids.
This work is divided into four different parts:
First part:
Synthesis and Some Biological Studies Of New Triazine, Diazine, ∆4- Oxazoline , Thiazole, Diazole and Oxazepine Derivatives
The aim of the present work is the synthesis of new derivatives of N-substituted diphenyl amine.The Scheme of our work involves Synthesis of different five; six and seven heterocyclic rings starting from diphenyl amine.
First part:
DETERMINATION OF TRACE ELEMENT THAT RESULT FROM INTERNAL FRICTION OF THE ENGINE IN USED LUBRICATING OIL
Spectrochemical methodswas employed for determination of wear metals (Fe, Cu, Pb and Al) that result from the internal friction between engine's component after using for a different distances in commercial fuchs lubricating oil. The samples were collected from the engine after running for 0 till 3000Km.
Synthesis and Biological activity of New 1,2,4-Triazole,1,3,4-Oxadiazole,1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine and 4-oxo–thiazolidin derivatives
The scheme of this work involves synthesis of different five memberd hetrocyclic rings from ρ-chlorobenzoic hydrazide which was synthesized from it's carboxylic acid.

Determination of Ampicillin Trihydrate Alone and in Presence of Some Metals By Derivative Spectrophotometric Method
Refluxed ampicillin trihydrate was determined using conventional and derivative UV absorption spectrophotomerty.The calibration curve for refluxed ampicillin trihydrate at 339 nm was found to have a linear range extended from 4 to 200 ppm with relative standard deviation for the slope of 0.0082 and correlation coefficient of 0.9999 with detection limit of 0.5 ppm. The effect of pH on the determination of ampicillin trihydrate at this wavelength was investigated.

In both type І and type ІІ diabetes, late diabetic complications in nerve, vascular endothelial, and kidney, increased oxidative stress and it is consequences of either increased production of free radical, or reduced antioxidant defenses, arise from chronic elevation of glucose.

Synthesis and structural characterizatinof Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes with N ,P and S donors.
Taking in account the basic ideas in coordination chemistry governing the structure and reactivity of these compounds especially those of Palladium and Platinum complexes, a new set of Pd(II) and Pt(II) square planar complexes with varying structural isomerism have been prepared and studied. Their structure and spectral behavior have been discussed based on hard and soft acid base principles, back π-bonding, and redox behavior.

For the synthesis of the titled compounds the following sequence of steps (step -1- to step -8- ) were followed.
Step-1- : Synthesis of 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole [1].
It was prepared by cyclization of hydrazine hydrate with carbon disulfide in alkaline medium.
