Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity study of New Five, Six and Seven Heterocyclic Compounds Derived from 2-Aminopyridine

This work involves synthesis of different five, six and seven member heterocyclic ring utilizing 2-aminopyridine as a starting material. This work is divided into four different parts:
Part One :
This part involved the synthesis of 3-biphenyl-4-ylimidazo[1,2-a] pyridine[1], 3-phenylimidazo[1,2-a]pyridine [2], imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3(2H)-one [3], 2H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyridine-2,4-(3H)-dione [4], N,N'-1,4-

Electrochemical Studies At Room Temperature Ionic Liquid Of Choline Chloride/ Tartaric Acid

The oxidation-reduction behavior of the newly prepared choline chloride/d-tartaric acid ionic liquid was studied by electrolysis at 25°C to 95°C with applied voltages of 0.5 to 5 volts. This ionic liquid was found stable up to 45°C and 5 volts as only showed small changes in current density. But, at 65°C the liquid showed noticeable unstable behavior particularly at or above 2.5 volt, which increased at higher temperature with increase conducting too.

SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF MIXED LIGAND COMLEXES OF COBALT (II), COPPER (II) AND RHODIUM (III) IONS

There are several ways for preparing Schiff bases. The most common way is the condensation reaction between amines and aldehydes. The Schiff bases were prepared by the reaction of cyclohexylamine with piperonaldehyde and reaction of 2,4-dichloroaniline with salicylaldehyde with mole ratio 1:1 to prepare ligand [LA] (Piperonaldehyde cyclohexylimine) and ligand [LB] (Salicylidene-2,4-dichloroaniline) respectively.
