The morphology of the zygapophyseal joint in relation to biomechanical properties

Abstract : Zygapophyseal joints (or facet joints), are a plane synovial joint which located between the articular facet processes of the vertebral arch. These joints are considered freely movable; the degree of possible motion varies according to the individual structural design and facet planes. Ten dried vertebrae were used for each cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions (220 vertebrae). AutoCAD program finds measurement for the surface area, the curvature, and the angle of the facet processes in each region for the vertebral column.

Self-guidance mobile vehicle: design and implementation

Abstract : This thesis deals with the mobile robot self_guidance detection, recognition and tracking, which heads towards a classified object through a combination of hardware and software processing, where an object is selected through a live screen selection then detected through several methods in addition to state predication of the next position concerning mobile robot instant tracking . The mobile robot will head towards the specified object, finally stops before touching it.

Building and implementation of haptic device for dexterous hand master

Abstract : Dexterous Hand Master (DHM) is one of exoskeletal controlling devices. The exoskeletal devices are used to translate the movement of the body that wears the exoskeleton device to another system. As the other exoskeletal devices, the (DHM) is used to measure the position of the hand and display it either on the other environment like robotic or in virtual environment. The signal that came from the hand is analog, but when these signals enter to PC must pass through many IC's that convert it to digital.
