This thesis presents the design and implementation of a private cloud computing system using a combination of two HP servers with specifications of Intel Xeon 8 core processor, 16GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Disk and two NICs as a physical resources and VMware ESXi as a virtualization software. Most of Iraqi hospitals do not offer e-services and there is a need to digitalize the request, report, store, and retrieve the medical data in these hospitals as well as provides other e-services such as e-mail and VoIP services.

An Effective and secure protection of sensitive information is the primary concern in communication systems or network storage systems, it is important for any information process to ensure data is not being tampered. To achieve confidentiality and integrity of multimedia information, various Secret Sharing Schemes (SSS) have been developed.This thesis presents a (2,n) threshold Secret Sharing Scheme, which is one of the types of SSS and a special  kind of  (k, n) threshold scheme.

Bone acrylic cement is widely used as a structural material in orthopaedics, dentistry, and orofacial surgery. Although bone cement celebrates four decades of success, it remains susceptible to fatigue fracture. This type of failure can directly lead to implant loosening, revision surgery, and increased healthcare expenditures. In this thesis, the application of mixing and vacuum technique to fabricate bone cement enhance its strength and fatigue performance.
