The present work consist of two parts:-
Part one:-synthesis and characterization
Five modified PVC polymers containing benzothiazole and benzimidazole as bending groups in the repeating units were synthesized in this work according to the following:
1-PAA: Reaction of PVC with 2-amino benzothiazole in THF solvent afforded the following modified polymer (PAA)
The current study involves the preparation of pyrimidine derivatives from reaction of thiopyrimidine with different compounds of hydrazine hydrate derivatives, amines and with ethylaceto acetate as in compounds:
1) 6-methyl-4-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2-thiopyrimidine.
2) 2-hydrazino-6-methylpyrimidine-4-(3H) one.
3)6-methyl-2-(3-methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihyro-1-H-pyrazol-1-yl)-pyrimidine-4-(H) one.
4) 2-phenylhydrazino-6-methylpyrimidine-4-(3H) one.
5) 2-(2,4)-dinitrophenylhydrazino-6-methylpyrimidine-4-(3H) one.
The successful burning of heavy fuel in gas turbines depends on the additive to prevent hot corrosion of hot gas path components, to prevent vanadium hot corrosion in the turbine hot gas path, a minimum ratio of magnesium to vanadium is required.
