Abstract : Remote management involves establishing a connection to a server to manage it across the Internet. As a class, remote management tools should be robust, versatile, and secure. Whenever a server is functioning and available across the Internet, remote management tools are the tools of choice. The scope of remote services now on offer is breathtaking. From helpdesks and call centers, through management and monitoring of systems and networks, all the way up to remote storage and applications hosting.

Performance analysis and evaluation for wireless local area network WLAN

Abstract : Wireless Local Area Network abbreviated as (WLAN) is the new generation of Local Area Networks (LANs) that is to satisfy the mobility and flexibility needed by recent users (mostly laptop users). This thesis presents the theory of IEEE 802.11 standards of WLAN, and discusses various WLAN performance parameters and their configuration. Simulation projects for different WLAN topologies have been built using OPNET network simulator.
