  Taking in account the role the transition metal ion takes place in medicine, especially those of  Ni⁺², Cu⁺², Pt⁺², Pd⁺²,that in addition to those essential for mammalian life , N, S, P and Cl^-, it was decided to prepare a series of new homo-and hetero-polynuclear  complexes including these elements with the substituted triazole ring, to show the possible structural phenomena and biological effect of the ligand. 3-Mercapto-5-(P-aminophenyl )-1,2,4-triazole (ATRZ) have been prepare starting from ethyl benzoate.

          New 2,5-disubstituted 1,3,4-oxadiazoles derived from amino acids carrying phenyl group at position (2) and benzamido, alkyl moieties at position 5 which were synthesized as outlined below :Synthesis of benzamido carboxylic acid [1-5]:-   Condensation of appropriate amino acid (p- amino benzoic acid, o- amino benzoic acid, valine, leucine, phenyl alanin) with benzoyl chloride gave the corresponding benzamido carboxylic acids, having the following structure formula :-

      This work is a continuous of our previous work in M.Sc study. Our previous work was concerned with the use of locally produced V₂O₅ (technical grade) in the preparation of catalyst successfully employed in the oxidation of n-butane to Malice Anhydride. The catalyst was evaluated using geomechanic system (France) specially built for catalytic test and modified to our proposes. The results had indicated to a functional catalyst.
