INVESTIGATION OF NANO AND MICRO ALUMINA PARTICLES IN ALUMINUM MATRIX BY USING POWDER METALLURGY TECHNIQUE

In this research, ceramic alumina particles are used as an additive to the aluminum  metal in order to fabricate new composite and to study the alumina effect on the  improvement of properties and characterizing the new properties of the composites taking into  consideration the main aluminum drawback property of low wear  resistance. In the presented thesis, micro and nano alumina particles have been used  as a reinforcement for the aluminum matrix by using powder metallurgy technique  and with three different percentages of alumina (5, 10 and 15wt.%).

Effect of Suaeda aegyptiaca extracts on some microorganisms In vivo and In vitro.

 ƒ A series of experiments were conducted to evaluate the in vitro antimicrobial activity of Suaeda aegyptiaca crude extracts against some pathogenic microorganisms as well as the therapeutical activity in vivo of combination of crude extracts of (alkaloids, phenols and terpens) on mice skin that previously infected with the fungus Trichophyton rubrum. ƒ Chemical analysis showed that S. aegyptiaca contains different active compounds:
