SEPERATION OF PARTICLES FROM AIR BY USING A SETTLING CHAMBER

An equation for determining the distance that a suspended dust particle in the gas (taken as air) needs to settle has been obtained as a function of height of the chamber, velocity of the air, and diameter of the dust particle. This traveling distance by a particle with certain diameter also represents the maximum length of the chamber which the same particle will settle in, particles with larger diameters will settle out of the chamber, whereas particles with smaller diameters will settle in the chamber. The chamber, here, was assumed to be an infinite length chamber without walls to li

RHEOLOGY OF SCREEN PRINTING INK

Rheological studies on printing inks (adhesion type inks) were carried out using various alkyd resin concentrations. Several properties of ink were investigated such as viscosity ,shear rate and shear stress. The effect of time and concentraton of alkyd resin on the viscosity was also studied and discussed at 25 c0 . The percentages of alkyd resin considered were  33, 28 and 23 wt%  for time range of 0–35 sec using  Rheology international R1:I:M   viscometer at different values of speed and spindles size .

Simulation Package System Design to Analysis and Control A distillation Column Using Frequency Response Method

Because of the practical importance of analyzing and controlling the systems arises the need to study the frequency response analysis for any system of several industrial plants. The frequency response used for the studies of dynamic characteristics of chemical processes and control loops in the present work. The process control implemented for different control strategies and compare between them by using frequency response techniques.
