Analysis and simulation of satellite multiple Access techniques.

Abstract: In this thesis, an overview of traditional multiple access techniques were presented. Advantages and disadvantages of each system were outlined. A classification of CDMA systems was given. The DS-CDMA was analyzed and a formula for evaluation the BER performance of the system was given. Three modern CDMA system were discussed, namely, Directsequnce-CDMA (DS-CDMA), Multicode CDMA (MC-CDMA) and Multicode-Multicarrier-CDMA (MC-MC-CDMA). The three systems were analyzed and formulas for evaluating the BER performance of the three systems were given.

Design and analysis of fire filter using FPGA.

Abstract: This thesis presents an FIR digital filter design, simulation and FPGA based implementation. Due to the importance of FIR filter in DSP, FIR filters can create transfer functions that have no equivalent in linear circuit technology. They can offer shape factor accuracy and stability equivalent to very high-order linear active filters that cannot be achieved in the analog domain.

Genetic algorithm based analog circuits design.

Abstract: This thesis presents the design methodology for the analog circuits using the genetic algorithm. Matlab is used as a tool to implement the GA (Genetic Algorithm) to analog circuits design problems as it is considered to be easy and robust with powerful features. Several analog circuits like operational amplifier circuits (inverting and non-inverting amplifiers), active filters and multistage amplifier circuits have been designed using the proposed genetic algorithm.
