Abstract:

In the present work we extend the analysis to a series of open- state shell systems by considering several Li-like ions in the Is2 3s state by using Hartree-Fock wave functions published by Weiss in (1963) The aim of this work is to study theoretically the properties of a Li-like ions in the Is2 3s state and do some discussions and comparisons between the properties of this state and the properties of the ground and first excited state, that are calculated by K. HAL Bayati. These properties are the Hartree-Fock(HF) interelectronic distribution function f(r12), the HF one and two radial distribution function D(r1) and D(r1,r2) the HF partial distribution function g(r12,r1.) only in position space, the expectation values, ‹rı,ⁿ>›, ‹ r1ⁿ> and where -2 Jbr a/I the KaKß,,KaMa and Kß-Ma shells, and finally the X-ray elastic form factor F(s} for the K-shell and total state. These parameters are very important in the study of the physical behavior of the atoms. For this purpose some computer programs are designed to calculated these parameters. The results for the present work were compared with previously published data for different states.
