Al-Nahrain University had the honor for the visit of
Dr. Walid Al-Hilli , Adviser of the Prime Minister for Education Affairs, who was received and welcomed by Prof. Dr. Nabil Khadum Abdul-Sahib, the president of Al-Nahrain university.
It was discussed during the meeting the development of the scientific and academic aspects, the electronic archiving and the development of all areas of scientific research, as well as the needs of the university.
Dr. Walid Al-Hilli, visited the new buildings of the University which opened recently such as, the building of the university presidency, the student club and he also had a look for the devices of modern laboratories. He continued his tour with the President of Al-Nahrain University up to (DNA) forensic center to had a look on the works of
this specialized center, which is considered as a unique center in Iraq.
Dr. Walid Al-Hilli expressed his admiration for the university, how it reached the high achievements in construction and reconstruction over the last period and the efforts made by the presidency of the university in order to gain progress in this great university, which is considered the first in the service of society.
He added, we aspire for more progress to harness all its scientific and cognitive potentiality to provide scientific and academic support for other state institutions.
He confirmed during his visit that the university of Al-Nahrain distinguished by its teaching and functional careers, and this comes by the great efforts of the university president and associates and their continued work to improve the required level.
Noting that the visit he made it comes within the framework of the discussion in making and reaching the Iraqi universities to the level of universities in advanced countries.
It was agreed to implement an integrated program and forming a working team with the participation of teams from the state institutions to contribute in the development of our dear country and employ all the possibilities for scientific research service.
At the conclusion of his visit, Dr. Walid Al-Hilli gave thanks and praise to the presidency of the university for their continued work and efforts to serve the public interest..
