The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi honours the University of Al-Nahrain team who won first place nationally in the agricultural track of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026), in the presence of the President of the University of Al-Nahrain, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, in recognition of the team’s outstanding achievement in the national competition.
The team is honored for its project submitted in the agricultural track, which demonstrates the use of robotics and artificial intelligence technologies to develop practical solutions serving the agricultural sector. The project secures first place among all participating teams in this track.
The recognition comes in appreciation of the scientific efforts made by the students of the College of Engineering at the University of Al-Nahrain during the championship, and in support of student projects based on innovation and technological applications in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. It also aims to encourage the students to continue developing their scientific projects in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence.
