Delegation from Al-Nahrain University’s Biotechnology Research Center Explores Prospects for Scientific Cooperation with Two Indian Universities

A scientific delegation from the Biotechnology Research Center at Al-Nahrain University, headed by Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Farhan, Director General of the Center, and accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Salam Tawfiq, Head of the Environmental Biotechnology Department, visits the Islamic University of Science and Technology in the Republic of India in response to an official invitation from the university.The delegation met with its President, Professor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, along with several college deans and directors of research centers.
During the visit, the two sides discuss   prospects for academic and scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise, particularly in the field of organizing specialized training courses on modern equipment and technologies, publishing joint scientific research, and organizing conferences and scientific events.The Iraqi side also presents the memorandum of understanding approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for review of its provisions, paving the way for completing the official procedures and obtaining the necessary approvals in preparation for its signing.The visit also includs the University of Kashmir for Agricultural Sciences and Technology, where the delegation met with the university president, several college deans, and directors of research centers. The two sides discuss   areas of joint cooperation in academic and research fields, contributing to the expansion of scientific partnerships between Iraqi and Indian academic institutions and enhancing the exchange of expertise and knowledge.
