The College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University hosts the launch of the Advanced Summer Training Program in Artificial Intelligence, bringing together 30 outstanding students, including 15 from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering at Al-Nahrain University and 15 from the College of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Baghdad.
Participants are undertaking an intensive one-month training program consisting of two sessions per week—one delivers in person and the other online—presented by experts from IBM. The program is designed to keep students up to date with the latest developments and global best practices in the field of artificial intelligence.
The training program aims to provide specialized academic and professional development that enhances both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students. It also seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and labor market requirements by introducing participants to cutting-edge AI tools, technologies, and industry practices.
Running for a full month, the comprehensive program is intended to strengthen an academic environment that fosters innovation while expanding collaboration with leading global technology companies. Through this initiative, the College of Engineering aims to prepare highly qualified engineering graduates who can keep pace with rapid technological advancements and contribute effectively to the digital transformation agenda.
