The College of Biotechnology organized a cultural festival titled “Antibiotic Awareness” aimed at raising awareness about the risks of excessive and uncontrolled use of antibiotics, its role in increasing bacterial resistance, and its negative effects on individual and public health.
The festival included awareness segments that focused on the importance of proper antibiotic use, the necessity of consulting a physician before taking them, and introducing the health challenges associated with bacterial resistance, which is considered one of the most significant global medical issues.
The event witnessed broad participation from professors and students, within an educational atmosphere aimed at promoting the culture of rational antibiotic use and spreading health awareness about the importance of adhering to medical guidelines to limit bacterial resistance.
