The Higher Institute for Diagnosis of Infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technologies(IERIT)in Al-Nahrain University organizes an awareness symposium entitled Breast Cancer Prevention in solidarity with Breast Cancer Awareness Month(Pink October).Dr.Ghadah Basim Al-Ansarey presents the symposium and she explains the most important healthy and preventive sides of this disease indicating that breast cancer accounts for about 25% of women's cancers and its incidence is continuously increasing assuring that early diagnosis increases the chances of recovery to up to 95%.
Also Al-Ansery deals with periodic breast exams such as Breast Self-Exam;Clinical Breast Exam and Radiological Examinations such as
Ultrasound and Mammogram asserting that commitment to early detection is a basic step for prevention and women's health protection.
