Unit of Woman's Affairs in College of Political Science in Al-Nahrain University in cooperation with Independent High Electoral Commission organize a scientific lecture entitled The Woman and Parliamentary Elections: Representation and Real Contribution.
The lecture aims for enhancing the awareness along with the importance of enabling the woman in the electoral and political elections operation shedding light on its roles in achieving the justice parliamentary representation and the active contribution in decision making supported by the values of democracy and equality.
The lecture deals with the latest challenges which face the woman in the political contribution and the means to strengthen its presence in life and in decision making sites assuring the importance of the educated and awareness programs which increase the contribution of woman in the coming elections.
