A scientific research of an Instructor in Higher Institute for Forensic Science in Al-Nahrain University, Mariem Jasim Shaab is published a with the partnership with a number of instructors of the institute along with a researcher in Al-Kindy College of Medicine/ Baghdad University in the world Cytokine journal which is ranked in Scopus Q1 with impact factor 3.7 to support the scientific research and enhance the academic partnerships in high-quality journals of global standing.
The research deals with the relation between the obesity and pathways and signals of leptin hormone explaining how hormone dysfunction
leads to accumulation of fat with the appearance of severe complications such as diabetics ,heart diseases and types of cancer. Besides, it explains the capability of using the leptin as a basis for innovative treatments of obesity and related disorders.
This scientific achievement is regarded as a qualitative addition to the production of the institute in the active medical researches field
assuring its commitment to support the researchers and enhance the academic attendance for the institute in the world scientific community.
