Lecturers from Business Economics at Al-Nahrain Participate in the Traditional Maritime Heritage Conference

 
Assistant Professor Dr. Sufian Monther Saleh and Assistant Lecturer Azzah Nima Mutlaq from the College of Business Economics at Al-Nahrain University participated in the Traditional Maritime Heritage Conference organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani.
 
The conference took place at the Union of Writers and Authors, where they presented a paper titled “Integrating Maritime Heritage Strategies into Development Plans to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals: Future Visions (Statistical Study).”
 
The paper discussed the importance of maritime heritage as a complementary factor in enhancing sustainable development plans that align with global development goals. It focused on effective strategies for preserving maritime heritage and utilizing it as a tool for economic, social, and environmental development. The study also explored the use of modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, to enhance the attractiveness and global recognition of maritime heritage.
