Closing of the 3rd International Scientific Conference of the Biotechnology Research Center (3rd_ISCB) at Al-Nahrain University

 
 
 
The Biotechnology Research Center at Al-Nahrain University concluded its 3rd International Scientific Conference today, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, after presenting a series of scientific research discussions on the second and final day. The sessions were held at the University’s Grand Conference Hall and the Engineering College halls.
 
Researchers were organized according to their specialties: the medical and molecular research focused on medical topics, while the plant research explored topics related to plants and extraction methods. The environmental track covered environmental issues and physiology studies. The research was presented in both morning and evening sessions over the two days.
 
In a statement, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud Farhan, Director of the Biotechnology Research Center, emphasized that the conference served as an excellent platform for presenting the latest scientific research and exchanging knowledge among researchers from various fields. He added that the conference resulted in several key recommendations, including strengthening support for scientific research, improving research quality, fostering innovation, and avoiding redundancy, with a focus on originality and high standards in scientific topics.
 
Dr. Farhan said, “We are very proud of the success of this conference, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, for their continuous support. I also extend my thanks to all the organizing committees and everyone who contributed to the success of this remarkable scientific event.”
