College of Business Economics of Al-Nahrain University, in cooperation with the Financial and Accounting Training Center of Ministry of Finance organized a workshop on “Green Education and Environmental Sustainability.”Dean of this College, Prof.Dr. Nagham Hussein, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, heads of scientific departments and a number of teaching members and postgraduate students attended this workshop. This workshop aimed for enhancing awareness of the concept of green education and its importance for confronting environmental challenges. In addition, it developed modern practical skills to design educational activities that contributed to raising the level of environmental awareness. The workshop also sought to build a network for exchanging ideas and providing continuous support in the field of green education. This workshop was presented by Assist.Pro.Dr.Ahmed Jawad Al-Dahlaki, Director General of the Financial and Accounting Training Center in the Ministry of Finance, who presented the importance of green education and its role in achieving environmental sustainability.
