Cloning, Expression and Biochemical Characterization of a Thermostable Lipase from Locally Isolate GeobacillusstearothermophillusBSR3

In order to isolate Bacillus stearothermophillus , fifty soil samples werelected from the southern region of Iraq representing five Iraqi provinces luding Basrah , Thiqar , Misan , AL_Mothanna , and Karbalaa respectively .m these soil samples, fifty four local isolates were obtained and subjected to ntification according to their morphological, cultural, and biochemical tests. Results showed that twenty nine of these isolates were identified as cillus stearothermophillus.

Study the Effect of Some Biotic and Abiotic Factors on Enhancement of Essential Oils and Rosmarinic Acid in Rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis L. In vitro

The yield of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) from essential oils and rosmarinic acid were investigated. Yield of callus tissue was compared with the intact plant production. Callus was induced on leaf explants and maintained on Murashige and Skoog medium (MS) supplemented with Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D), Benzyl adenine (BA) and Kinetin (KIN).

Comparative, Molecular, Immunohistochemical and Tissue Microarray Study on Iraqi and Italian Breast Cancer Patients

Breast cancer is the most common cancer of women worldwide. It is a heterogeneous disease. The incidence rate of this disease increased in the last years in Iraq. The current study was conducted to study the immunohistochemical and molecular parameters for the breast tumors by using tissue microarray (TMA) technique on Iraqi and Italian patients with

Investigating the Anti-tumour Properties of Iraqi Propolis in vitro and in vivo

The present study was conducted to evaluate anti-oxidant, anti-mutagenic and anti-tumour potentials of propolis samples collected during the period 20-42007 to 1-7-2008 from five
different geographical locations in Iraq (Baghdad1;B1, B2, Dahuk; D, Mosul; M and Salah ad-Din; S), and/or their phenolic compounds (caffeic acid; CA, chrysin; CH and caffeic acid phenethyl ester; CAPE) in vitro using one normal (human dermal fibroblast; HuFb) and two

Biochemical, Cytogenetic and Histopathological studies on the effects of Agrimonia eupatoria extracts on albino male mice

The study was conducted to evaluate some immunological (total and absolute counts of leucocytes), cytogenetic (mitotic index of bone marrow cells, micronucleus formation in bone marrow cells and sperm-head and- tai abnormalities), biochemical (aspartate amino-transferase; AST, alanine amino- transferase; ALT and alkaline phosphatase; ALP), histopathological (liver) and antitumor (human cervical cancer; HeLa and Rhabdomyosarcoma; RD cell lines and a normal cell line; mouse embryo fibroblast; MEF) effects of agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria L.) extracts (aqueous and

CHARACTERIZATION OF SHEET METAL FORMABILITY OF BRASS CuZn30, GALVANIZED STEEL AND 1060 ALUMINUM ALLOY

In this work, the effect of annealing temperature on the formability of three different alloys (Brass CuZn30, Galvanized steel and 1060 Aluminum alloy) sheets was investigated both theoretically and experimentally. A range of annealing temperature, strain rate, and different lubrication conditions to determine best parameters for satisfactory metal forming.

Effect of Cryopreservation Techniques on In Vitro Maturation of Immature Sheep Oocytes using Different Biochemical Materials

In vitro maturation (IVM) of immature oocytes is a promising technique to reduce the costs and avert the side effects of gonadotropin stimulation in in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Cryopreservation of immature oocytes followed by IVM technique can offer advantages, such as to avoid the use of large doses of gonadotropins for multiple follicular growth and induction of ovulation.
