Pregabalin is an anti-convulsent drug that is indicated in epilepsy, neuropathic pain and anxiety. This study evaluates its effect on spermatogenesis in male rats through histological and physiological examination of the seminiferous tubules. Objective             Investigate the effects of pregabalin on the reproduction system of male (in an experimental model) and their fertility with potential role in male mediated teratogenicity     Material and Method In current study, 90 white males rats were taken from aged ranging between 1.5-2 month and weights ranging between 250-300 grams which included three apparatuses of a control group (G1) and treated group (G2&G3) and then each group was divided into two groups on the basis of different periods where they are paired and scarified the animal after completion of the specified period of dosage. Two doses of Pregabalin were employed, 300, 600 mg/Kg B.Wt. given orally and daily to groups of thirty male albino rats (Rattaus rattus) for 35 days. The changes in the testes were evaluated by paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin and Eosin.
