Forensic DNA for research and training center Organizes a Symposium about Widespread Drugs in Society in cooperation with Ministry of Interior, Directorate-General to combat drugs and psychotropic substances.This symposium includes a number of lectures.The first lecture is presented by the official speaker of Directorate-General, General Dr.Zad Al-Qasey who talks about the role of Directorate-General to combat drugs in society and reduces this phenomenon and documentary film is shown.
Second lecture explains legislations to combat drugs which is presented by Dr.Raad Hashem ,Director of the legal affairs department in Presidency.The third lecture is about synthetic drugs ,their types ,their effect and how to examine them which is presented by the lieutenant, Muhammad Majad/Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidences.Besides,the active system to control the widespread drugs which is presented by the director of Forensic DNA for research and training center ,Prof.Dr.Daha AL-Shamgh.
At the end, a number of recommendations are given :The necessity to develop the legislations to combat drugs and support the efforts of security services and activate the role of media, Ministry of Higher Education in holding educational workshops and symposiums for the students.
