College of Political Sciences of Al-Nahrain University discusses the Phd dissertation about the intellectual bases of foreign policy of Russia since 2000 by the student Muhammad Mezez Isknder/International Politics Department .The study attempts to research and analyze the intellectual debate which spreads in the Russian environment after disintegration of Soviet Union , the appearance of Russian Federation and the big transformation which Russian foreign policy uses and retreating the ideological bases for the appearance the pragmatic bases in the Russian foreign political behavior.
The study concludes that the multiplicity of intellectual bases of Russian foreign policy because of the variety of political ,social and economic environment in Russian Federation which is different from that of Soviet Union and the power of Russia depends on the traditional bases and the military power on the expense of others.
