Al-Nahrain University has got the best university of the area title according to the principles of the academic side and the scientific research ,develop the University environment and the cultural relation in 2016.Also the president of Al-Nahrain University , Prof.Dr.Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib is selected as the best president of University Administration of the area in 2016 and this honour comes for the joined efforts of University Council ,sessions of colleges and the scientific departments, the activities of the teaching body of the different levels inside or outside of Iraq and the commitment of University students of the Preliminary and higher studies to teaching curriculums participate in making the University diligent.
Socrates Award is represented as the world acknowledgment of the Iraqi Universities skill and effort and their lecturers .This award comes as the same time as the University has got a number of the specific achievements as the best university of the area award 2016.Besides, the University takes part in the local ,regional and international forums as the diligent research institution depending on the quality principles of the University Performance achieving the research academic scientific diligence. This is regarded as a real achievement that the Iraqi peoples can be proud of it on the different international and local levels and this is an evidence of the diligence of University and its science according to a strategic vision of the best University performance, so it has this recognizable position.
