The Faculty of Engineering, at the University of Al Nahrain, has Organized a scientific seminar concerning on the technological incubators project in higher education with the participation of a number of the teaching staff and representatives of colleges at the university.
The workshop aimed at motivating the students, who have ideas and ambition to start setting up their projects, by providing them with services and consulting by the technological incubator to achieve their ambitions in order to increase the chances of success, as well as providing a suitable work environment during the early years of the project so as to encourage the researcher to focus on his work.
The seminar included a lecture by the Chairman of the ministry Executive Committee of the telematics technologies in Intelligent Education, Engineer Abdullah Ali Jassim. His lecture concentrated on how advanced technology can be used to improve the educational process in order to save time, effort and money, to put quality assurance solutions for the educational process problems, to build software applications for Strategic investment in education and higher education at all stages of study, and to cooperate with international universities and manufacturers of engineering, scientific and medical labs.
The lecturer has searches in the possibility of accomplishing a multi-disciplinary and complex researches that requires an entire team with the direct support of international companies and universities. He has also shed light on promoting and developing the teaching methods by relying on interactive teaching to strengthen and promote the rapid cognition of the students.
The lecturer focused on the adoption of interactive administration through the use of the operating room and the sequential and automatic workflow to ensure the functionality of the staff of the state in general, which contributes in saving the time, effort and cost for the benefit of the public.
The Assistant Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Neaama Khalifa, has said that there will new technologies for the first time in Iraq and will be applied at the University of Al Nahrain as a model to be later generalized to the rest of the Iraqi universities. He has also added that the goal of the use of smart education is to improve the higher education and graduating students who are highly experienced as a result of the application of such a project.
