Al-Nahrain University reaches a new qualitative achievement by entering UNIRANKS for the first time and it is one of the international modern rankings focusing on the experience of student and quality of outcomes of Higher Education by ten principles which cover the academic, research, digital and social sides.
This ranking which is presented by Malaysia is regarded a developed sample in measuring the performance of universities shedding light on the comfort of students ,its graduates which are appropriate for work market, invention , internationalization ,the digital transform and institutional scrutiny which come with the anticipation of Al-Nahrain
University to improve its competition and its reputation academically, regionally and globally.
Prof.Dr.Omer Farouq Abd Al-Rashid ,Assistant of President for Scientific Affairs says that the entrance of Al-Nharain University in
UNIRANKS represents a significant station in its academic progress reflecting the commitment of the university to the increased international principles which put the student in centre of educational process.
This ranking does not measure the research and academic performance only ,but it deals with a total system involves the comfort of student,the capability of employment of graduates, the quality of education ,the digital transform.T hese are fields which work to develop it continuously.
For his part,Asst.Prof.Dr.Zaid Akrem Thabit ,Director of Quality Assurance and University Performance asserts that this achievement is a direct outcome for applying the policies of quality and continuous improvement adding that inserting Al-Nahrain University in the World ranking reflects an degree of progress that the university has done in applying the principles the total quality and academic dependence.
What recognizes this ranking is its generality ,it depends on basic ten principles including internationalization, the research performance, the teaching quality, digitization as well as the principle of hand scrutiny for the elite to ensure the transparency and credibility of results.
He adds " we are working continuously to develop the policies of the university which come with the demands of world ranking and we will support the colleges and departments to raise the efficiency of performance and improve the experience of the university student on all levels."
