This center was established in 1999. It aims at pursuing specialized researches in Biotechnology. It consists of specialized scientific labs in the fields of molecular and medical, plant, and environmental biotechnology. It includes three depart-ments: Molecular and Medical Biotech-nology department, Plant Biotechnolo-gy department, and department of En-vironmental Biotechnology.
