Sintering behavior and thermal insulating properties of (MgAl204-Al) spinel composite
Spinel-Aluminum composites are drawing greater attention due to their low density, excellent physical, mechanical and refractory properties. This work aims to study the preparing one of the most current conventional technique and sintering behavior of Spinel-Al composite through characterization of the physical, mechanical properties as well as XRD and microstructure of the synthesis Spinel-Al composite specimens.
Magnetic Lens Aberration Coefficients Estimation by Using the Analytical Solution for the Paraxial Ray Equation
A theoretical investigation is carried out by using an analytical expression for paraxial trajectory of an electron in a magnetic lens to estimate the optimum properties of the magnetic lens. The aberration coefficients of the magnetic lens are studied, such as the spherical, chromatic, radial distortion and spiral distortion aberration coefficients. The Glaser's bell-shaped model is adopted to represent the axial field distribution of magnetic lens.
Texture Recognition Using Density Distribution Method
The recognition process is an important task in many applications of computer image analysis based on color or texture features. In this research, a texture recognition system has been introduced. The first stage is called the preprocessing stage. In this stage, a number of color transforms have been done on the training images to produce a set of bands (R, G, B, Gray, Y, I, Q, H, S, and V bands). From these bands, two sets of features vectors had been extracted, (i.e., density slicing and Fourier transform).
DESIGN STUDY OF A SMALL HYDROELECTRIC SYSTEM
Preparation and Characterization of Ferroelectric Compound Like Ba(x) Sr(1-x) TiO (3)
Ferroelectric materials posses spontaneous polarization which can be reverse by applying an external electric field over a certain temperature range. Ferroelectric materials belong to special types of
crystals (non-centrosymmetric structure). Ferroelectric materials have a lot of industrial applications in medicine, environment and communications, etc. There are Many ferroelectric materials such as
Computational Study of Magnetic Lens and Deflector with a Field Distribution of The Form B(z) ∝ z-n
The analytical method is used to derive the formulae of optical properties for magnetic lens and deflector. From these formulae, the optical properties are computed for both magnetic lens and deflector. The minimum spherical and chromatic aberration coefficients (axial, magnification and rotation chromatic aberration coefficients) are selected from the results of calculation for both magnetic lens and deflector. The inverse power law model is adopted to obtain the axial field distribution of magnetic lenses.
Simulation of Dose Buildup Factor of Gamma Ray Including Annihilation Radiation for Aluminum, Iron and Lead
A computer program based on Monte Carlo method had been designed and written in visual basic computer language and utilized for simulating the classic problem of gamma ray beam incident on finite plane slabs of absorbing materials.
Study of Nuclear Structure Properties and Electromagnetic Transitions for even - even Kr , Xe , Nd , Ge Nuclei in the Framework of Interacting Boson Model
Nuclear structure Properties and electromagnetic transitions of some even - even Kr, Xe, Nd and Ge isotopes have been studied in this work, by using the collective Interacting Boson Model-2 (IBM-2). The Interacting Boson Model (IBM-2) has been very successful in describing the collective properties of nuclei. This work concerns a systematic applications of the model, involving configuration mixing of bosons.
Construction and Characterization of Pseudospark High Power Plasma Switch
Discharge can be created by applying a potential difference between two electrodes in a gaseous medium. Electric field generated between these two electrodes (anode and cathode) causes ionization of neutral gas particles and creates a conducting path. This phenomenon is called breakdown of the gaseous medium [1]. Electric field lines between the anode and the cathode depend on the geometry of the electrodes.
