Thesis

This study involve the preparation of some substituted porphyrins with either an electrondonating or with drawing groups. These porphyrin were characterized by their absorption spectra in the visible region. The porphyrin were converted to metal-complexes and characterized by the same method. Equilibrium constants of the reactions of these complex with additional ligands were studies by using the same method.
