Development of a prototype billing system

In this thesis, A Prototype Billing System has been developed using:
1. ASP (Active Server Pages), Visual C#.NET and Visual Basic Script Languages.
2. Windows Server 2003 Domain Controller.
The billing system provides a user-interface; which is represented by the Internet Pages, to maintain user accounts for billing purposes. The features of this Billing System on the client administration side include client registration, checking account, and refilling account; while the features on the administrative side of the Billing System include: adding/editing roles, lock-unlock accounts, verify accounts, and control the access for the accounts. The application is based on the client/server process. The Visual C#.NET language had been used to provide more secure applications. However, a Windows 2003 Server has a great security. The system had been tested and ran successfully on a Local Area Network (LAN) that contains a Windows Domain Controller, and each client is a member of that Domain Controller.
