Under the patronage of the President of Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, Al-Nahrain University holds the Nahrain Spring Festival in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Omar Farouk Abdul Rasheed, and the Administrative Assis.Prof. Dr. Alaa Hussein Abd, along with a number of college deans, academic and administrative staff, and a large gathering of students.
The festival features a variety of activities that reflects the university’s creative environment, including a Jobs and Innovation Fair aimed at opening prospects for cooperation with institutions and companies, and a Financial Inclusion Day to promote financial awareness among students, in addition to the presentation of graduation projects showcasing students’ academic achievements.
The festival also witnesses the organization of a Human Rights Festival to spread the culture of justice and equality, alongside a tree-planting campaign across the university campus in support of environmental initiatives and the expansion of green spaces.
This festival comes as part of Al-Nahrain University’s commitment to supporting student activities and developing students’ skills, contributing to the preparation of an aware generation capable of participating in community building.
