نظّمت كلية التقنيات الإحيائية في جامعة النهرين ندوة علمية بعنوان “دور التقانة الإحيائية في علاج الأمراض المناعية”، وذلك ضمن نشاطات وحدة التعليم المستمر، بحضور عدد من التدريسيين والباحثين وطلبة الدراسات العليا.
وقدمت الندوة الأستاذ المساعد الدكتورة رواء نزار الجلبي، حيث استعرضت أحدث التطورات العلمية في فهم الجهاز المناعي، ودور التقانة الإحيائية في تطوير أساليب علاجه.
وركزت الندوة على العلاقة بين العوامل الوراثية وكفاءة الجهاز المناعي، وتأثير الطفرات الجينية على الاستجابة المناعية للأمراض. كما تناولت تقنيات الهندسة الوراثية والتعديل الجيني لتعزيز مقاومة الجسم للأمراض المناعية، إضافة إلى تطبيقات العلاج الجيني، وتطوير الأدوية البيولوجية المستهدفة، وتعديل الاستجابة المناعية لتحسين فعالية العلاج.

The College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Seminar on the Treatment of Immune Diseases
The College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific seminar titled “The Role of Biotechnology in Treating Immune Diseases”, as part of the Continuing Education Unit’s activities, with the attendance of faculty members, researchers, and graduate students.
The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rawa Nizar Al-Jalabi, who discussed the latest scientific developments in understanding the immune system and the applications of biotechnology in its treatment.
The seminar focused on the relationship between genetic factors and immune system efficiency, and the role of genetic mutations in immune responses to diseases. It also highlighted genetic engineering and gene editing techniques used to enhance the body’s resistance to immune diseases, as well as gene therapy applications, the development of targeted biologic drugs, and immune response modification to improve treatment effectiveness.
