في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتوجيهات وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي لدعم التوأمة بين الجامعات الحكومية والأهلية، استقبل الأستاذ الدكتور حكمت نجم عبدالله، عميد كلية هندسة المعلومات في جامعة النهرين، الأستاذة الدكتورة غيداء عبدالحسين الملا، عميد كلية الهندسة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات في جامعة الزهراء (ع) للبنات، بحضور معاون العميد للشؤون العلمية، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور محمد عماد عبد الستار، ومدير شعبة البعثات والعلاقات، المدرس حمزة محمد مرهون، ورؤساء الأقسام العلمية في الكليتين.
تم خلال اللقاء توقيع مذكرة تعاون وتوأمة علمية بين قسم هندسة الأمن السيبراني في جامعة النهرين وقسم الأتمتة والذكاء الاصطناعي في جامعة الزهراء (ع) للبنات، لتعزيز التعاون البحثي والتطوير المعرفي.
تتيح هذه المذكرة تبادل الخبرات بين أعضاء الهيئات التدريسية في كلا القسمين، بالإضافة إلى تطوير البرامج التعليمية والتدريبية بما يتناسب مع احتياجات سوق العمل والتطورات العلمية والتكنولوجية الحديثة. كما تساهم في تحسين جودة التعليم وتعزيز الفرص العلمية للطلاب، مما يسهم في تطوير قدراتهم العلمية والتقنية.
وفي تصريح له، أكد الأستاذ الدكتور حكمت نجم عبدالله، عميد كلية هندسة المعلومات في جامعة النهرين، أن توقيع هذه المذكرة هو خطوة هامة نحو تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي بين الجامعات الحكومية والأهلية، بما يخدم تطوير التعليم العالي في العراق. وأضاف أن هذه المذكرة تتيح مجالًا واسعًا للتعاون بين الكليتين في مجالات البحث العلمي، مما يعود بالنفع على الطلاب والهيئات التدريسية على حد سواء.
وأشاد العميد بتوجيهات وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي التي تدعم هذا النوع من التعاون بين الجامعات، مؤكدًا أن هذه المبادرات تساهم بشكل كبير في تحقيق تطلعات التعليم العالي وتعزيز مكانة الجامعات العراقية على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.

College of Information Engineering Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation and Academic Partnership
As part of enhancing academic cooperation and following the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support partnerships between public and private universities, Prof. Dr. Hikmat Najm Abdullah, Dean of the College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University, welcomed Prof. Dr. Ghidaa Abdulhussein Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Zahra (PBUH) University for Women, accompanied by Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Assistant Dr. Mohammad Emad Abdul-Sattar, Director of the Scholarships and Relations Division, Instructor Hamza Mohammed Marhoon, and the heads of the scientific departments from both colleges.
During the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation and Academic Partnership was signed between the Cybersecurity Engineering Department at Al-Nahrain University and the Automation and Artificial Intelligence Department at Al-Zahra (PBUH) University for Women, aimed at enhancing research collaboration and knowledge development.
This memorandum facilitates the exchange of expertise between the teaching staff of both institutions and aims to develop educational and training programs, which will improve the quality of education and expand scientific opportunities for students.
In a statement, Prof. Dr. Hikmat Najm Abdullah emphasized that signing this memorandum is an important step in strengthening academic cooperation between public and private universities, serving the development of higher education in Iraq. He added that this agreement will open broader opportunities for collaboration in scientific research, benefiting both students and faculty members.
The dean also commended the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which backs such cooperation initiatives between universities, affirming that these efforts contribute significantly to achieving the aspirations of higher education and enhancing the standing of Iraqi universities regionally and internationally.
