افتتح معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، الدكتور نعيم العبودي، المعهد العالي للعلوم العدلية في جامعة النهرين، بحضور عدد من الشخصيات الأكاديمية والقضائية، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز المنظومة التعليمية والبحثية في المجالات العدلية والقانونية.
وخلال كلمته في حفل الافتتاح، أكد معالي الوزير الدكتور نعيم العبودي، أن “تأسيس المعهد العالي للعلوم العدلية في جامعة النهرين يأتي استجابةً للحاجة المتزايدة إلى تطوير القدرات القانونية والعدلية في البلاد، من خلال توفير بيئة أكاديمية متقدمة تسهم في إعداد كوادر تتمتع بالكفاءة والاحترافية العالية. نحن ملتزمون بدعم مثل هذه المبادرات التي تسهم في تحقيق العدالة وتعزيز سيادة القانون عبر تأهيل مختصين قادرين على مواجهة التحديات القانونية المعاصرة.”
وأضاف معاليه أن “وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي تولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بتطوير المؤسسات الأكاديمية المتخصصة، وتحرص على تعزيز التعاون مع الجهات القضائية لضمان تزويد سوق العمل بالخبرات العلمية التي تسهم في رفع كفاءة المؤسسات القانونية والعدلية.”
من جانبه، صرح الأستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي، رئيس جامعة النهرين، قائلاً: “إن إنشاء المعهد العالي للعلوم العدلية يعد خطوة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تقديم برامج أكاديمية متخصصة تسهم في تطوير قطاع العدالة والقانون، وتلبي الاحتياجات المتزايدة للمجتمع في هذا المجال الحيوي. نعمل جاهدين على توفير بيئة تعليمية متميزة تُخرج كوادر مؤهلة قادرة على خدمة المجتمع بمهنية وكفاءة.”
وأكد الشاوي أن جامعة النهرين، ومن خلال هذا المعهد، تسعى إلى تعزيز التعاون مع المؤسسات القضائية والقانونية محليًا ودوليًا، بما يضمن تقديم برامج تعليمية متطورة تلبي المعايير الأكاديمية العالمية وتواكب التطورات الحديثة في المجال العدلي.
ويُعد المعهد العالي للعلوم العدلية إضافة نوعية تسهم في إعداد كوادر متخصصة تمتلك المهارات العلمية والعملية في المجالات القانونية والعدلية، مما يدعم مؤسسات الدولة المختلفة بخبرات أكاديمية رصينة تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز سيادة القانون.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Inaugurates the Higher Institute of Judicial Sciences at Al-Nahrain University
His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, inaugurated the Higher Institute of Judicial Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, in the presence of several academic and judicial figures. This initiative aims to enhance the educational and research system in the judicial and legal fields.
In his opening speech, His Excellency Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi emphasized that “the establishment of the Higher Institute of Judicial Sciences at Al-Nahrain University comes in response to the growing need to develop legal and judicial capacities in the country. The institute provides an advanced academic environment that contributes to preparing highly competent and professional cadres. We are committed to supporting such initiatives that contribute to achieving justice and strengthening the rule of law by training specialists capable of addressing contemporary legal challenges.”
His Excellency added that “the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen on developing specialized academic institutions and is committed to enhancing cooperation with judicial authorities to ensure that the labor market is supplied with scientific expertise that helps improve the efficiency of legal and judicial institutions.”
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, President of Al-Nahrain University, stated: “The establishment of the Higher Institute of Judicial Sciences is a strategic step aimed at providing specialized academic programs that contribute to the development of the justice and legal sectors, meeting the growing societal needs in this vital field. We are dedicated to providing a distinguished educational environment that graduates qualified professionals capable of serving society with professionalism and competence.”
Dr. Al-Shawi affirmed that through this institute, Al-Nahrain University seeks to enhance cooperation with judicial and legal institutions both locally and internationally, ensuring the provision of advanced educational programs that meet global academic standards and keep pace with modern developments in the judicial field.
