نظمت كلية هندسة المعلومات ندوة علمية بعنوان “المرأة في الهندسة”، قدمتها المهندسة أديان حيدر حميد.
تناولت الندوة التحديات التي تواجهها المرأة في مجال الهندسة، مع التركيز على سبل التغلب عليها، بالإضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على مسارات النمو والتطوير المهني للمهندسات.
هدفت الندوة إلى تعزيز الاستمرارية في دعم المرأة في القطاع الهندسي من خلال توفير بيئة عمل محفزة تسهم في زيادة مشاركتها الفاعلة. كما ركزت على أهمية دعم البحوث والمشاريع العلمية، لا سيما عبر التعاون الأكاديمي مع جامعة أوفنبورك الألمانية، حيث تم مناقشة توفير فرص تبادل أكاديمي لطالبات الماجستير والدكتوراه. ويهدف هذا التعاون إلى تعزيز الابتكار والتنوع في الأبحاث الهندسية، بما يسهم في تطوير الكفاءات النسوية في هذا المجال.

The College of Information Engineering organized a scientific seminar titled “Women in Engineering,” presented by Engineer Adayan Haidar Hamid.
The seminar addressed the challenges women face in the field of engineering, focusing on ways to overcome them, and highlighted career growth and development paths for female engineers.
The seminar aimed to enhance the continued support for women in the engineering sector by providing a motivating work environment that contributes to increasing their active participation. It also focused on the importance of supporting research and scientific projects, particularly through academic collaboration with the University of Offenburg in Germany, where opportunities for academic exchange for master’s and PhD students were discussed. This collaboration aims to enhance innovation and diversity in engineering research, contributing to the development of female competencies in this field.
