تفقد معالي وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي الدكتور نعيم العبودي البنى التحتية والمرافق الأكاديمية في جامعة النهرين، وذلك خلال جولة ميدانية شملت عددًا من المباني والمشاريع الجديدة التي تسهم في تعزيز البيئة التعليمية للجامعة.
رافق معالي الوزير في جولته الأستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي، رئيس الجامعة، والسادة مساعدي رئيس الجامعة وعدد من عمداء الكليات. واطلع معاليه على مبنى كلية اقتصاديات الأعمال الجديد، الذي صُمم وفق معايير حديثة ليوفر بيئة تعليمية متطورة، ودار الضيافة الذي يعكس مستوى التنظيم والضيافة المتقدم في الجامعة. كما تضمنت الجولة زيارة كلية الهندسة وكلية العلوم السياسية، حيث اطلع على القاعات الدراسية والمختبرات العلمية التي تُعد من أهم عوامل دعم الطلبة في تحقيق أهدافهم الأكاديمية.
وأشاد وزير التعليم بمستوى التطوير الحاصل في البنى التحتية للجامعة، مشيراً إلى أهمية توفير مرافق تعليمية حديثة تلبي متطلبات الطلبة وتسهم في رفع جودة التعليم العالي. كما أثنى على الجهود المبذولة في تنفيذ المشاريع، التي تجسد حرص الجامعة على تحقيق التكامل بين الجانب العلمي والخدمي، بما يتماشى مع خطط وزارة التعليم العالي.
وأكد معاليه على استمرار دعم الوزارة لمثل هذه المشاريع الطموحة، داعياً الجامعات الأخرى إلى الاستفادة من تجربة جامعة النهرين في التطوير والتحديث. واختتم جولته بالتأكيد على أهمية الاستمرار في تعزيز البنى التحتية التي تمثل ركيزة أساسية للارتقاء بالعملية التعليمية في العراق.
The Minister of Higher Education Inspects Infrastructure and Lecture Halls at Al-Nahrain University
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, inspected the infrastructure and academic facilities at Al-Nahrain University during a field visit that included several buildings and new projects aimed at enhancing the university’s educational environment.
Accompanying the Minister were Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, President of the University, along with the university’s vice presidents and several college deans. The visit included a tour of the new College of Business Economics building, designed to meet modern standards and provide an advanced educational environment, and the guest house, which reflects the university’s high level of organization and hospitality. The tour also included visits to the College of Engineering and the College of Political Science, where the Minister inspected lecture halls and scientific laboratories, key components in supporting students’ academic goals.
The Minister commended the university’s progress in infrastructure development, highlighting the importance of providing modern educational facilities that meet students’ needs and improve the quality of higher education. He also praised the efforts invested in implementing projects that demonstrate the university’s commitment to integrating academic and service excellence, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education’s strategic plans.
The Minister affirmed the Ministry’s continued support for such ambitious projects, encouraging other universities to benefit from Al-Nahrain University’s experience in modernization and development. He concluded his visit by emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the infrastructure, a cornerstone for advancing the educational process in Iraq.
