Seoepidemiologal study of brucellosis in Babil governorate

The current study is serroepideiniolgical study of Brucellosis in Babil Gevernorate. The total samples examined were 480 taken from people living in rural area (AL. EFFAR), working in farms and rearing domestic animals. compaired with control group (200) patient attending Hay Babil & AL. Qathia Health centers. All control group had no contact with domestic animals. Rose Bengal test done for all of them. Positive cases was 24 (5%) And in control group 2(1%) Male number was 220, out of them 4.5% was positive. Female number was 260, out of them 5.4% was positive. Higher positivity in second decade 7 cacs, 8.8%.
