Hepatitis B surface antigen among diabetics in Kerbala governorate

This is an attempt to study HBsAg prevalence among diabeti patients in Kerbala.The study had been done upon the out patie: clinic of AL-Hussaini Hospital in Kerbela and on patients from the medical ward of the same hospital from the 1st of December 1991 till the 20th of March,1992 in comparison the healthy con group got them from the Health Centres out patients,who came f( simple medical help. £u / Blood samples of 205 diabetic patients and 117 control were taken and examined by ELISA technique in Kerbela Laborato: 93 of the diabetics were IDDM and 112 were NIDDM.The results w! o we got are :- 1.
