On the Homotopy Perturbation Method and its Applications

The aim of this work is to use the homotopy perturbation method to solve special types of the local and nonlocal problems. This study including the following aspects: (1) Give some basic concepts of the homotopy perturbation method. (2) Use the homotopy perturbation method to solve some types of differential, integral
and integro-differential equations. (3) Describe some nonlocal problems and use the homotopy perturbation method to solve them. (4) Use the homotopy perturbation method to solve some real life applications and these
applications are advection-diffusion problems, gas dynamics problem and the ground -water level problem.
